In this episode, Samyak and Samarth speak with Prashant Desai, Sr. Director at the Everstone Group. Everstone Group is one of the largest Private Equities and Prashant manages the exits business at Everstone Group.

Currently, in his secondment, Prashant is managing the Strategy and Investor relation side of things at Burger King India.

Prashant hails from the city of Kolkata, where he had completed his undergrad studies and his CA. Post that, in the early years of his career, he worked as an equity research analyst, then directly working with Kishore Biyani of The Future Group and then with Rakesh Jhunjhunwala.

In this episode, Prashant speaks about his life, Private Equity, his failed start-up where he lost over INR 30Cr, and the book that he wrote after that to talk about his failed start-up.
