I met him once in Luxor in Arnhem. I was still a young boy, but he impressed me.
He also bivouacked with my deceased soul sister Lia in Oss.
Although I think Frank Sinatra's Version is the most beautiful version, this version certainly also appeals to me.
Rest in peace dear Herman and give Lia my regards.
