I cannot agree you more. That's why I purchased the X5 35i after.
It has the best handling among all from my driving experience. I test drove the 2014 Acura MDX elite, 2013 Toyata Highlander V6, 2013 Mazda CX5, 2011 CX7, 2012 CX9, Hyundai Santa Fe V6 etc.
Comparing a SUV to a SUV, it has few rivals. I am not regret my choice. But if you try to compare a SUV to a sedan, I don't think it is fare.
At least, I am lovin' it.

@hondaftw1234 nope i dident test drive that, I agree that the MDX is better than the current X5 in both reliability and technology, only downfall of the MDX is its fuel economy with its 6 speed transmission, they should move on to a 8 or 9 speed like bmw and mercedes

between the x5 and the rx lineup from lexus i think at least 35% of all people living in the denver metro own these two cars, i see them everywhere !

@arashn89 of course you're going to pay more for an m powered car versus the base model. IMO neither is worth the money, better of with a 1m or a 5 series gt if you want the space.

This review is so far off it's the worst I've ever seen. Go drive one of these and see for yourself. I looked at everything available and bought the X5 with the same engine (XDRIVE 3.5i Premium).
Acceleration in this vehicle is outstanding and road feel is second to none. No need to spend the extra cash on the 5.0i with the V8, the in-line 6 with 300HP is more than you need and is good on gas to add to the positives.

The Acura MDX looks less dated, tho it needs an update. They both have 300hp. Acura MDX is wayyy more reliable tho lol. Acura MDX or Audi Q7 for me...
