I hate it when people intentionally put "Honour Mode" in their video titles but don't mention all the differences in Honour mode from other versions of the game...

At 8:35 if you take 5 levels in Warlock for Deepened Pact as a lvl 5+ class that already has the Extra Attack feature *you will NOT get another attack. It doesn't stack in Honour mode.*

Your multiclass build 5, warlock extra attack is no longer stacked on top of other martial class extra attack in honour mode just fyi.

6/6 Sorcadin is a lot better than Padlock in Honour Mode. Also, the extra attacks do not stack in Honour mode. Fire Sorcerer with one level into lock for Hex, deals crazy damage, even more than the Tavern Brawler builds.

One thing to note on build 6, if you want your bard to be casting control spells like hypnotic, hold person/monster, etc, those are *all* concentration spells, meaning they won't be able to simultaneously cast haste.

All good spells, but breaking haste mid-combat can get you killed 😅

Im having fun with my 2 Fighter, 2 Warlock, 8 Sorc. Firing off 12 Eldritch Blasts at 1d10+12 dmg each is pretty sweet.

Not to sound needy. But for this or possibly future videos could the time stamps have the class “name” like how there’s throwbarian, dual wield hand bows, etc? Just would make it nice being able to go back and forth when looking at builds.

doing 2 sorc / 6 wizard tank build (put the rest into wizard to 10 after) based on the one RageGaming did in a previous video, where you cheese armor of agathys and you basically become unkillable in honour mode with warding bond.

I got 2 sorc instead of 1 sorc 1 cleric like Rage suggests, cause you can cast extend metamagic with the door/chest lock spell to buff the hell out of your arcane wards, and then you want low AC to proc armor of agathys as much as possible (just use a 10 AC robe) with only 10 dex

Why don't people call the paladin warlock combo the padlock

For the tavern brawler monk (first multiclass), it's much better to go 9 into monk and 3 into thief rogue. An extra feat is not worth the cost of giving up the monk level 9 ki resonation abilities, which for me are the whole reason to go monk. It's basically a powerful AOE that can wipe out entire groups if you're detonating multiple resonating kis at once. There is no level 12 feat you could pick up that is anywhere near as valuable as this.

Uploader clearly didn't do their research in their rush to put out yet another "best" video. Extra attack with Warlock doesn't stack with the Paladin extra attack in Honor Mode.

With TB Throw, to actually optimize you would be using STR elixirs. After you have access to them, your stats should be something like 8 STR, 16 DEX, 17 CON (+1 TB) and 14 Wis. You'd also grab the dual wield feat so that you can always use your bonus actions even when Frenzy is not available and put your main damage weapon in the off hand. You can either go EK on the character, or just have a camp EK bind the weapon for you and stay Champion. The only weapons that you really benefit from though are those that have the "thrown" property on them. Otherwise, they just get treated as "objects" and only do 1d4 blunt damage.

But anyway, the truly "best" (as in strongest/optimal) builds are: TB Throw, 2 Fighter 10/Sword control ranged Bard that guarantees all CC will land (you ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GRAB HASTE on this build. Complete waste since most of your best CC spells require concentration. You get Command and Counterspell from your secrets too), the 2 Paladin 10/Bard variant that is similar but is more focused on melee crits, the TB 8 Monk/4 Thief, 1 Warlock/11 Sorcerer (Fire) control build that also does the highest single target damage in the game, 2 Tempest Cleric/10 Storm Sorcerer and Titanstring 5 Gloom/3 Ass/4 Champ.

Also, I wouldn't recommend respeccing at level 6 to get 3/3. Tried it, and losing the extra attack isn't worth it in the early game. By the time you first enter Act 2, you can be one fourth a level away from level 8 anyway, and this is when the build truly comes online.

Is SorLock no long a great build in the game? Last I played was a year ago and I loved that build.

Assassin gloomstalker is game breaking in honour mode once you get level 6 for special arrows

Didn't they fix warlock extra attack stacking with normal extra attack last patch?

My favorite of yours was the cc control build with cleric and sorcerer using command. That build made the Raphael fight a joke

I think sword bard assassin is better than gloomstalker. Flourish is way more powerful with assassin than just added damage you can even get 2 lvls of fighter in for action surge and if your dark urge you can just go invisible again. It requires more lvls to get sword bards extra attack but even split assassin 3 and bard 3 still lets you have the returned action with flourish.

What is the robe piece you have equipped to your monk for the first build?

I used other weapons for my thrown weapon build. Like the Sussar Dagger. Hell. All daggers have the thrown property and some have some really good on-hit effects. That’s not even taking into consideration the other spears like the Vision of the Absolute, which can blind a target on hit. I will take those over the Returning Spear on my Eldritch Knight.
