Bought my Cascadia cumins IX15 brand new and been using Shell 15w40 . Today I have 700, 000+ miles never had any problem . All I did after hitting 500, 000 mils was adding Lucas oil stabilizer in summers just make sure u don’t add it in winters . Peace ✌🏻.
Change your oil 12-15k miles with fuel water separator and fuel filters

Do your research the highest tinsel strength is Red Line 5/40 synthetic diesel oil No other oil comes close. But U can't find it at a truck stop so I believe for Non junk motors like egr or def CRAP the next best oil thats available anywhere would b mobile or Shell...
