This pranayama practice is useful for stressful times, when you desire relaxation and stress relief. Can be combined with an ujjayi inhale for more mental focus and breath awareness. Perfect for prenatal and postnatal yoga students or those looking for a gentle pranayama practice. Can be performed seated on the floor/chair or while lying down. Keep a neutral pelvis and long spine, sitting on a blanket or blocks if needed. Repeat for 5 to 30 rounds of breath or as long as it feels good for you.

What you need:
• yoga mat
• blanket
• yoga blocks or books
