The laptop stand definitely helps with settling down to work. I have a similar setup but wonder why you picked that mouse. It seems like the weak link of a portable setup, requires AA batteries and a wireless receiver + USB dongle. The Logitech MX Master is regarded as the best mouse, rechargeable via USB-C and connects perfectly to Mac via Bluetooth.

Surely, if your mouse is Bluetooth, you connect it directly to the Mac via Bluetooth, rather than needing an adapter? Are you sure it's not a generic wireless mouse?

How is it compared to the Blue Yeti? I am asking because the Blue Yeti was my first choice but the only thing i dont like about it is the size.
