I am sharing a few of my family's current favorites when it comes to family Bible resources. I like to use resources that not only teach my kids Bible stories but also give them a good grasp of Christian doctrine/theology and Christian apologetics.

Thank you so much for sharing. I have been searching for biblically accurate story bibles for my younger children. There are SO many resources out there that aren’t accurate. I’ve been a bit disheartened in my search until I watched this! Thank you. This has been an answer to prayer! 🙏😄

Love the Answers Books, we have all 6 books. My mom gave me her Bible story books that she had when she was a child. So I have books that are 55-60 years old!! The Bible Story (all volumes) by Arthur S. Maxwell. We also bought Bible Freaks but haven't started using those. That'll be when we start the new school year August 1.

Janelle, thank you so much for this video. I cannot tell you how this has blessed me. I am very new to the idea of homeschool. I may be leaving teaching after 17 yrs to homeschool my 8 yr old and 3 yr old. I have seen so many videos about curricula and such but this video is perhaps for me the most meaningful. I have been praying about how to really teach my children the Bible and God's truth in a meaningful way and your video is an answer to prayer! You and I like many of the same resources. Wanted to point out a couple of others that I found worthwhile. Simply Charlotte Mason has a really good Bible Memory System and it's free; you just need to use a recipe box and dividers. I also add catechism questions to it. I also recommend that people be learning hymns. So much theology and helps so much in church. I just pick hymns that we sing at church and I put into a binder and make song books. We listen to youtube videos for help with tunes.

I buy the Big Picture Story Bible for people who are having babies. Our pastor loves it because it accurately tells redemptive history at a level that kids can understand. I agree that there are some really bad children's story Bibles out there. I had one that left out the Fall. Went from the Garden of Eden to Noah's Ark. That one found the garbage quickly.

I cant wait to get the children's bible it sounds great! On a totally different topic. You always look so pretty. Do you and if so how do you schedule exercise and time just for you or how do you make your own self a priority when you have so many other responsibilities? I really struggle in this area.

we picked up those ken ham books second hand. cant wait to get into them. i would love to hear about any other bible resources you use..dvds..curriculums etc. my son is into dinosaurs and most of what we have teaches evolution
