Here are five things you didn’t know about “The Resident,” which are very good reasons to tune in and find out for yourself.

The characters are very realistic. The series is not a reality television series, but the main characters you will see act very much like the people that you would see in a real hospital setting. Some of the patients are difficult, which in a staged format, help to move the plot of the episode forward nicely. It makes the show interesting and something that real people can relate to. The young residents are just as believable. They are not perfect, and they make mistakes. Dr. Devon Pravesh is one of the most endearing with his un-jaded perspective and high ideals. We watch him learn about the harsh realities of the business of medicine in the first episode. “The Resident” presents a cynical view of people. Most of us who’ve been around a few years are acquainted with the best and worst of human nature. “The Resident” is a show that offers a darker view on the subject, and we see it played out in some of the hospital staff as well as in the patients they care for. It’s well-written content with a realistic view of the darker side of humanity is actually quite refreshing. From all appearances, soap box speeches are not going to be tolerated by idealistic young doctors who disagree with the system. We’re pretty sure that this is going to be reserved for Conrad Hawkins as he “enlightens” new residents about the reality of their situations. Even though the pairing of Conrad and Nic was great, I know that Matt is capable of giving us a great performance being a wonderful father, I'm not going to miss a scene of what's coming

They almost destroyed the show when they killed Nic off. I don't understand why it had to be so final and tragic. It was bad enough when Mina left bc we lost that storyline with her and AJ and then Kane left too. Thankfully, the cast managed to pull it together bc they're all such incredible actors that the show was able to recover after losing so many vital characters. The producers pulled off the impossible and managed to give its audience a great ending. However, the possibility of what could've been still nags me bc the potential for other great storyline were ruined bc too many main characters left the show. This show could've done way more than 6 seasons. It was that good.

I honestly prefer not to continue watching the resident series because NIC and Conrad we're a beautiful couple I began to follow, the series for the two of them, now that, she is gone I prefer to stop watching, I like Conrad as an actor but I would no accept that Conrad Will end up with another actress neither Billie nor code, which is the doctor that they are going to add and Will see between the two of them? Emily and matt have incredible chemistry, johala they put it back together un other tv series
