Poppy Playtime Chapter 2's True Monster is Hidden Off Camera

Poppy Playtime Chapter 2's is out and Mommy Long Legs is out to get us! But is Mommy Long Legs the true threat? I believe she truly fears what lurks in the dark off camera... The true monster of Playtime Co and Poppy Playtime Chapter 3. This is what you can't see after Mommy Long Legs death.

I belive that when she says "you'll make me part of him" is probably foreshadowing to how the "monster" uses parts to build himself up. Like with the human bone.

She says “He will make me part of him” I’m guessing that the big spider is collecting the other toys, either ones he killed or the ones we killed and he will make them part of him. Guessing we will see huggy and mommy again but apart of the spider guys. Kinda like the blob in security breach

Very interesting little detail I noticed. With Mommy's death notice how she dies immediately after her abdomen is crushed, but her chest is untouched. That's because with spiders, their heart and lungs are located in the abdomen, not their thorax.

I think the saddest part about her death is that without her, Bunzo, Pugapillar and all those Huggy Wuggies are all left defenseless against that thing. She was probably one of the top monsters in the factory so now the others would be able to close in and eat the toys that were under her protection

With Kissy Missy seemingly being the complete polar opposite of Huggy Wuggy from what we see in Chapter 2, I feel like Daddy Long Legs (and possibly their kid?) are gonna be helpful to the player instead of murderous in Chapter 3 or later.

Points that are worth discussing: 1, Mommy says that “you’ll make me part of him” or something similar. Instead of fearing for her immediate doom, she’s more devastated at the fact that “he” will have her as a part. 2, mommy says this while her body is being devoured by the machine (idk what’s it called, my bad), but she knows she won’t be completely destroyed, instead some part of her will remain. These 2 points are intriguing because this would seem to imply that she knows of 1006 as a predatory entity that hunts for other living toys, most likely she herself has witnessed someone else taken by 1006 and she also knows that 1006 has a set up for her and that this machine shredding her to pieces is the trap designed by 1006. These few dialogues paint an extremely horrific picture.

When mommy long legs dies she says "YOU'LL MAKE ME PART OF HIM" possibly referencing to the hand that takes her away. My theory is that the hand is adding lots of different toys onto their body leading to the new boss in chapter 3.

Mommy long legs seems to be fearing of this hand because she says "YOU'LL MAKE ME PART OF HIM!" So i think the more deaths we see the more of this monster we'll see, and also, we killed huggy with it... we also go deep into the facility so i think it already has him

I have a little game theory moment. I feel like that hand belongs to the "Prototype" that is mentioned quite a bit throughout chapter 2. It is said to have incredible intelligence and created a laser pointer to break the room’s camera. It even killed one of the workers when she was trapped in the room it was kept in. I have a feeling we will see more of this Prototype through chapters 3, 4, and 5, and it might even be the main antagonist for the game period.

One thing I noticed after watching someone play is that, THIS is experiment 1006, huggy wuggy is experiment 1170
And if we’re going off the fact there’s not just 6 characters anymore that means there’s at least 1170 experiments, most likely more, existing somewhere in this facility, dead or alive. And that just adds the level of terrifying to the game because before we all assumed “okay so the main enemies will be the 6 characters we see” but now we have absolutely no idea what we’re facing up against, who’s on our side and who we’ll have to kill just to be free

I really felt bad for mommy long legs, she seemingly was pretty nice to anyone who wasn’t a playtime co. employee, a piece of paper you can collect said she liked the orphans, she liked the other experiments, she just specifically didn’t like the staff, and if matpat is right, that she was an employee who was forcefully turned into a monster by playtime co. that just makes it sad, even a document you can collect tells us her human name.

I think whatever this arm is for will be 'The Prototype', the one mentioned in the tapes for being so intelligent and dangerous. I don't think they would do him for a Chapter 3 boss, but more of a final boss for the game, collecting scraps from all the dead bosses in each chapter to upgrade himself, since we can see the bones attached to himself, maybe they are from the worker that got trapped with 'The Prototype', trying to complete itself and be complete in any way it can...

The claw hand actually has resemblance to the hand that shows up on the black tapes concerning experiment 1006. My guess is that it was done like that on purpose to show hints to the biggest mistake of Playtime Co. and hint to the real big bad of the game. The “he” is most likely the experiment that Mommy was talking about. Poppy isn’t the true villain. Just a pawn of the cursed experiment 1006.

I watched Coraline. I love the button eyes thing! Mainly because I can finally put my sister to sleep without having to worry about her ransacking the fridge. But it was still such an amazing movie!

This reminds me of the movie “9” with the giant robot that makes other machines out of scrap parts and human remains, my idea is this thing will collect broken toys/Living toys parts and probably use those parts to repair itself, and mommy long legs says “he’ll make me part of him”. . . yeah so this is pretty much poppy Playtime’s their version of “Ennard” from FNAF SL.

Am I the only one that’s actually interested as to WHY seemingly plastic/cotton/fur etc toys can actually bleed, it was hinted at with huggy but it’s on full display with mommy long legs

Huh, wow. I thought the hand dragging her out looked like a metal spider of some sort (it kind of does, doesn't it?). It was a bit confusing, but so its an arm.
