Also:
1. Ctrl+[ or Ctrl+] = indent line of code (works with multiple lines and in formula bar)
2. ( or { or [ or " = enclose selected code in brackets/quotes (use shift key for chars that require it)
3. Alt+Click = create multiple cursors (to replace multiple column names or query step names in one go)
4. Ctrl+Shift+Space = show function arguments (must click inside function first)
5. Ctrl+Space = toggle function description when typing function name (intellisense)

I have the Launch PQ Editor in the first hot key position as well.
New Query is on the QAT inside PQ. Too bad though that the PQ-QAT cannot be reordered.
Nice video!

Hello Phil and thanks for these helpful tips!

Is there a shortcut or way to get to the last row when the data exceeds 1000 rows?

Best regards,

Ronnie

Professor Mynda, can you please do a video on rolling avg using pivot table? One for daily, 7 days, and monthly avg.

How can you select Columns and quickly move them to another area within the table? ie. When I merge and add columns, I now want them adjacent to columns in the middle of the existing table for ease of reference. I know I can move them slowly across the table, I have 175 columns.

Any expedited method apart from modifying the mcode would be appreciated!

Thanks

I would like to know one thing before really getting into the power query.

1-) Let's say on sheet 1 I have my database that I basically copy paste from other excel and on sheet 2 i have some control formulas. As far as I understand with power query I can load the data on sheet one from other excels and editor will do everything I did on first sample to the others and combines them. But what i actually want is not combining the data only the editing part. Assume the data folder includes last 7 days excel but i only want the day I choose to be listed and be able to change it. Can I do that and will query going to do same adjustments i made for all of it?

2, can i use same query for multiple excel files? I couldn't find it. I want to use same data folder with the same adjustments i made on multiple different excels ( not sheets, different excels)

Please do reply if answers are yes i will be binge watching every excel video right now

So far these look like for PQ in Excel, maybe not PBI?
