All politics aside, the current objective situation is that Taiwan is not a UN member, and I cannot comment on its political situation because politics don't have a place in a cover of a kids' song. I'm not on either side, and the "you're either with us or against us" thing is something I don't buy into. All I will reveal about my personal feelings on this matter is that I think it's all very silly, much like all politics and geopolitics by extension, and that if I DID mention Taiwan it'd just simplify and diminish what is a very complicated political issue that dates back over half a century.
