in all of Washington and the environs, the man who has the greatest honor is buried in the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. No politician will ever be so honored as he is.

This is how, we show respect, to a fallen Soldier who is a soldier, we may be on different sides but a professional
Soldier always gives the respect and the courtesy to a fallen foe.

I come from a rich military heritage. Family served in all our branches. Our family was touched by Japan in wwii. G uncle was lost at sea in pacific. Grandpa was a POW in Japan. I got to visit local friend of mine in Japan when I lived in Korea. Fun to see her in her environment. Met her lovely family and neighbors. It was a short but nice visit. We are still friends. This was a touching ceremony. Hail the brave travelers gone to soon. May we learn the art of peace as well as we learned the art of war.

1966-67 Coast Guard Honor Guard, I did that many times and remember it like it was yesterday. What a privilege and honor. Uniform has changed but the job remains the same.
