I felt profoundly emotional after completing this.

It's been such a long and fun journey, and I've loved having you all here to share it with me. Thank you for being so supportive of these Xenoblade 2 videos and also patient as I went through a difficult time and struggled to finish editing.

Now we get to play Xenoblade 3 in just a few months. I'm so excited to do this all again.

I might take a small break before I post Torna, but I promise it will but up ASAP!

I cannot thank you all enough for your support on these videos. It's been such a pleasure posting these and seeing all of your sweet comments. This game honestly changed my life as you will see in this video. I'm so excited for Xenoblade 3, and you can look forward to a Torna video within the next few weeks.

Thanks again and do not forget: Make a girl cry? That's not gonna fly. Make a girl smile? You pass the trial!

I worked on this game as a translator, and I really enjoyed watching you have such an emotional reaction to the end. This game has so much heart.

This game made a girl cry multiple times, it's failed the salvager's code! (well, I guess it made a girl smile a few times too) In all seriousness, thank you Sarah for making me experience this amazing game again. I'm as excited for Xenoblade 3 as you are!

Sarah, don’t be sorry for ANYTHING.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 isn’t just a game. Your experience is a testament that this creation transcends into a work of art.

We all understand, myself included, that any work of art, including this one, can have a profound impact on us. That XC2 helped you through a difficult time makes it that much more precious - to you and to all of us that you’ve shared with.

Please continue to do what makes YOU happy. We’re all just grateful for you sharing your experiences.

You can tell they really respect their music too when they list every single member of the orchestra they used to record it individually.

What I love about this game is that it exceeds in both the macro and the micro storytelling. Macro storytelling is the bigger picture. The connection to Xenoblade 1, the Torna expansion adding more context to the lore of the world and why it is in its current state. It blew my mind. Micro storytelling are the little moments between characters. Every interaction between characters are so well thought out, about their personalities, their own individual beliefs and past experiences, and how they interact with the other characters. The mixing of these two is what makes that ending so powerful. You care about the characters because of the micro story, their own individual struggles and overcoming them. You care about them. The tragedy of the moment comes from the macro story, the bigger picture. Pneuma needs to do this to preserve the world they fought so hard for. It's what makes it so heartbreaking. Pyra and Mythra finally found their reason to live, but they had to choose to sacrifice themselves for the sake of everyone else. It's a tragedy, and it is done so well. I have never not cried at the ending.

One thing that I think is easily forgotten is how tragic of a character Malos is. Because there's a line early that when Drivers resonate with Blades, a part of themselves is imprinted on the Blade.

So who resonated with Malos? Amalthus, and his hate of the world was imprinted onto Malos. Malos is only really carrying out Amalthus' will

"We are locked out by Professor Klaus" I still remember the chills I got when I first heard that sentence. After like 60 hours the game decided to reveal its identity as a true sequel *actually parallel universe but you get the idea 😂

Someone tell me that Malos’ speech about Jin wasn’t one of the best parts of this game. Malos cared for Jin, even if he never showed it directly.
I goddamn love how this game shows Villains in a tragic light. None of them are purely evil. Even though their actions are what make them evil.
They all have things that bind them to that path. Even if it’s wrong.

Thanks for your playthrough, got introduced to your channel by your Xenoblade Chronicles 3 reaction and have since seen both your playthroughs. Not since Etika have I seen someone enjoy the series so much, which warms the heart.

I remember absolutely losing it realising that the two games are more connected than I thought they would be, Klaus cemented himself as one of my all-time favourite characters and Adam Howden absolutely nailing it, again, with his voice acting.

I am beyond excited for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and look forward to watching you play that too.

I remember playing an European copy of original Xenoblade in the early 2010s after resigning myself that we would never get it state side. And now it's one of Nintendo's flagship titles. It's come such a long way and I'm glad to have caught all of your streams!

It's one of my favorite series of all time and I'm glad you show it the same amount love for it that we did 10 years ago. Can't wait for your Xenoblade 3 streams.

- It's kinda sad to read each party member's observations of the swing set...

- To be clear, what Rex saw in those grayscale battles are made from his personal fears and woes. So it was him who feared that Nia felt gravely jealous of Pyra, that Morag and Brighid hated him for giving false hope, that Tora and Poppi felt insignificant for not being a real Driver and Blade, that Zeke and Pandoria begrudged him for being chosen by the Aegis, that Gramps was having an existential crisis...But it ultimately proves that Rex can't consider himself happy if he had to see his friends suffering.

- This chapter reveals a lot about XC1. It's also heavily hinted that Ontos, the missing Aegis, may be Alvis - reinforced with his necklace pendant being changed to a red Conduit shape in Definitive.

- Don't you remember? Galea is the one who spawned Meyneth. As for her half in Alrest...uh, it could possibly be that one Guldo that dropped an ID card.

- There was a scrapped function where Pyra's/Mythra's silent line (with subtitles) would be different depending on some kind of progress - one line suggesting memory regression, another line suggesting they remembered.

...See you in Aionios!

It's so fun watching people play and experience games that you also enjoy. I loved watching your playthrough and I'm glad you enjoyed the game so much. Look forward to Torna!

The ending of XC2 had EVERYONE crying. I was emotionally messed up for probably a straight day or two after I beat it the first time. Hell, hearing the ending song ALONE will still hit me really hard, even after all these years since I first played through it.

That's the mark of a true masterpiece of storytelling, in my opinion; No matter how long it's been, or how many times you've experienced it, it still brings out all the same emotions as when you went through it the first time.

I cannot WAIT for Xenoblade Chronicles 3.

I never thought about until now, but when Klaus was checking the hearts of Rex and his friends we see through each exchange with his friends that they are acting in accordance with his worst fears. He is afraid of leading people to their deaths (Morag), or not meeting the expectations of those that look up to him (Tora), etc. But when it is pyra's and mythra's turn there is no fear, that is the evidence of the strength of the bond they have and what Klaus found to be so profound. It was because of this that Klaus chose to entrust to Rex the true Elysium.
