Today we are in a new shop called FuruhonIchiba which is a chain store here in Japan. This is my first time to this location in Koto ward of Tokyo. Do you like digging through retro video games at recycle shops? or do you get a kick out of finding that Japanese JUNK treasure in used game stores? Then you will want to stick around for the entirety of this video because you will get to see what they have to offer in this new shop and you will also see what nostalgic treasure comes home with me today. We will see some Sega Saturn, Super Famicom, N64, Famicom, and a whole lot more in this episode. If you enjoyed this video please share it with a friend because it helps me out a lot and the more support i get the more it will push me to come out with new content.

Another cool shop! Great work, man. That Final Fight Guy is a really good price if its complete. I found it in Book Off for double the price!
And what a find, a Saturn for 500 yen! I would've picked it up in an instant too. Hope to get into that console one day.

I so love the junk sections at Hard Off! Everything I have purchased has worked with the exception of PSP’s. I fill a full size suitcase with consoles, controllers, fight sticks and games, bring them home then clean and repair them. I love your game store videos, keep them up please!

I will of course be going to all of these shops you've been showcasing recently.

When you put that Sega Saturn back on the shelf, I was incredulous....but thankfully you had a change of heart. There is no way that I would have passed up that deal. Nice find!

Two things:

1: I love your videos. Please keep them up.
2: Have you ever thought of posting the address for the shops you visit in the description? I'm compiling a list of stores to visit when they finally let Americans into Japan. Also, love the fact that you made it known that this store is credit card friendly.

Amazing store. I'll have to keep it in mind for when I eventually end up in Japan! Nice score on that Saturn!

Heya Scruffy, can you please show the Toys & Figures section from time to time as well?
I know you are focused on games, but I think it would be cool and I bet many pp will enjoy!

Love the video, but the jazzy funky music is too high in the mix..

Steamgear mash, sonic jam, vampire saviour, vampire hunter, darius gaiden, layer section, strikers 1945, Capcom Generation 1 are all between $10 and $50. Who knows for how long.

My US Saturn with those same style buttons (round ones) works well. I think that might be a good deal with two controllers and cables. The shooters for Saturn i like (US names) Galactic Attack and Layer Section. They have tons of shops for Saturn.

That Saturn is a steal for 500 yen. As far as the disk drive goes I'm pretty sure it's in working condition. I would definitely take a gamble on that console.. :)

About 16 min in, once the music gets going, you're really hard to hear over the music.... at least on my Roku

You can't go wrong with a Saturn for 500 yen, it´s worth it if just for the controllers! Saturn usually works fine, but you'll probably want a new battery for saved games.

Seems like a very affordable shop for 32-bit games! Street Fighter Zero 2 was a good price. Shooters are unfortunately among the most expensive games (never found in junk sections), but there are exceptions.

Twinbee Deluxe Pack still goes for about 2000 yen. When I bought Sonic Wings Special it was really cheap too. I picked up Assault Suit Leynos 2 (Cybernator sequel) for 1000 yen at a Hard Off, haven´t played it yet though.

Among the more sought after games Soukyugurentai used to be reasonable in price. Think it has increased a lot in price though...

Well done on the Sega Saturn! Shmups are very expensive on the Saturn... But there's a reason for that: they are usually the best or only home port, certainly at the time. I HIGHLY recommend Batsugun, Battle Garegga, and Radiant Silvergun. Dodonpachi and Donpachi are probably better on the PS1. Google Racketboy for some great overviews of the Saturn library.

¥500 for a Saturn console! That’s insanely cheap

It’s hard to believe the prices in Japan. Some of the Nintendo games are so affordable yet in America it’s so expensive. The price of collecting game cube games have really increased. I hate my self for selling all of my cube and snes and 64 games
