Such a fuckin drag. Stopping by my dad's after work tomorrow. Life can dissappear in an instant or a nights sleep. What an existence we live.

I was literally having a conversation with my buddy about life Saturday.
I had mentioned there's a reggae song I listen to that says " just be happy to wake up in the morning", and that's real. Then yesterday this news. So that IS real, be happy to wake up every day, and Coy, rest in peace, so sad.

Been riding Ty pretty hard over his questionable racing lately but my heart and prayers go out to that young man right now. Losing your father that you were close to is a devastating feeling. To go from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows within 24 hours would be hard to process. Prayers for the entire Gibbs family

I didn’t like Ty and was mad that he won, however now knowing that it was the final night with his dad and that he got to celebrate a championship in his final night makes me so unbelievably happy for Ty winning.

All I can say is unreal. To the entire gibbs organization, my thoughts and prayers, but the good lord above saw fit that he lived to see his son win a championship. I cant even fathom this kind of thing happening. RIP Coy, you are in some pretty good company up there. RIP

My heart is breaking. There are no words when a parent outlives 2 of his sons. Glad Coy got to share in Ty's historical year. Respect and condolences to Coach Gibbs and Mrs Gibbs.

Sadly we'll continue to hear about thousands of deaths like this on top of the thousands we've already seen. God bless this man and prayers for his family and the many more to come. 😔

Ive done a complete 180 in how i think and feel about Ty Gibbs moving forward. His on track antics were very distasteful to say the least.
But honestly after sunday, i cant believe the devastation the Gibbs family is going thru. Life isnt fair and i dont believe thats justice. Some one dying is never justice.
So sorry for the loss to the entire gibbs family and ty especially.

Such a sad day after Ty wins the championship. I’m a few months shy of Coy’s age and wow this hits hard. Every day is a blessing. Prayers to the entire Gibbs family and organization.

I did not know Coy well, we went to the same high school and he played a year behind me in football. He always seemed like a good dude, as did the rest of the Gibb's folks I interacted with. Lost a lot of people lately around my own age and this is just another reminder that no one is guaranteed tomorrow. And should be a reminder to remember that when going after folks that make a mistake in life.

Nobody deserves to lose their dad at 20, nobody should outlive both their sons. RIP Coy, such a damn shame.
