Scouts Fly To The World Scout Jamboree - ITV News

Thousands of young people from all over the UK have set off on what is seen as the ultimate camping trip.

They are on their way to South Korea for the #WorldScoutJamboree which gets underway next week.

The event hosts teenagers from all over the world and they will enjoy a wide range of activities from rock climbing to water sports.

August is one of the two worst months to go to South Korea as the heat waves are tremendously harsh with temperatures range from 33C to 40C. It's not the time nor the month to go to an event like this. I wish they could go in May or in Sept/Oct. Better weather for sure! I do hope they will be alright and come back safely. Remember this: Health is your wealth.

As a Korean citizen, I am sorry for the youth of the world who must have been inconvenienced and insufficient in preparing Jamboree. Now, Korea is experiencing the greatest heat wave ever. Most Koreans are very interested and sad about this incident. I'm also worried about whether students will be okay in this heat, so I'm looking for a new updated article. The government and companies are doing their best to support goods and deploy manpower for the rest of the year as the next best option, so I hope they can relieve their parents' anger even a little. Health is the most important thing for teenagers in the world. I will pray for the students until I finish this camp❤🙏
