Since entering office, the Biden administration has nearly doubled the number of people locked in U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention; extended existing contracts with private prison companies in some communities that have explicitly rejected ICE detention; started a contract to detain immigrant youth; and signed an agreement to open a new massive, for-profit immigrant detention center. Join us for updates on these troubling developments in the U.S. immigration detention system and how you can get involved in ongoing efforts to resist this harmful expansion.
