This is pretty good! I love the idea that the thought of her is what keeps him going and the orange light is a really nice touch! Also, that's a very interesting take on the ending. It feels a little more like an accident in this case, since she catches him to save his life (if I understood what was going on correctly). One very small criticism (take it with a grain of salt, since I'm not sure if you did it on purpose or not) is that you keep switching the side the camera is on (the 180 rule, I believe it was called) at odd times without warning. It does make it feel like he's just going back and forth, like he's literally lost, but it's also a bit hard to follow. You can fix that and do it more smoothly with camera movements instead of just cuts, or with the character changing direction in the same shot. Anyways! I'd love to see the finished product if it ever comes! Stay awesome <3

The saddest part of the actual myth is that Orpheus actually made it back the whole way without turning back. He was in the land of the living, seeing the Sun again, and turned back to share his delight with Eurydice. But Eurydice was steps behind, still in the underworld. For one small moment, the two lovers shared a look, before Eurydice was pulled back into the depths of the Underworld once more.

The way you draw emotions is incredible. There were times where I teared up, which I’ve never experienced before with an animatic. And I love your interpretation of the “look back” moment. It was so unique and gut wrenching because it was an accident rather than a choice.

I must say, your way of drawing emotions is absolutely stunning! An animatic has never made me actually cry or tear up before, until now. That ending was absolutely heart breaking and beautifully executed!
