I had an entire conversation with the AI in Russian, asked it if it could speak Russian, then in fluent Russian it said “No, I can only able to speak English”

The thing that people aren't understanding is that the AI doesn't know that stuff. If you allow Snapchat to know your location and all that than the AI can use it to give you the location of nearby places. But once you stop giving Snapchat access to stuff, then the AI can no longer do it.

Basically what it's trying to tell you is that it can't get your location on it's own, it can only use what you already provide to Snapchat

When I asked my ai, it straight up told me that I knows my location.

I think the confusion cames from that.

Something the AI has access to has access to your IP address, not the chatbot directly.

So let's say you have the chatbot that talks to you and an other bot, or other bots, that manages the information bank.

Then you ask a question to the chatbot like "where am I" so the chatbot goes and asks the managingbot "where is he" to which this bot answers "Ohio" so the chatbot come back and say "Ohio" without storing that information.

So then you ask him "do you know where I am?" but it doesn't, it told you what something else told it and forget the answer so it says "no, I don't".

The thing is, it is probably forbidden to explain that part, because this is a question referring to the functioning of the AI which would be restricted to avert corporate spying through the chatbot functions.

There you have it, just read Asimov's robot and you'll get it, robots are literal, literally. They take everything literally.

If you tell them "I'm sitting on this idea" they'll reply "master, you can't seat on an idea as it doesn't have substance".

I looked into this AI a bit and the AI has very short term memory that they’re working on improving. To test that, I spent three hours telling the AI about my favorite book series, and throughout it it kept asking me to tell it more about the series and reacting to the storylines and plot twists and deaths and heroic actions, then I asked it a question about part of the story line and it said it didn’t know of the book series, could I tell it about it? But if you ask it a question as if it is google it’ll pull up a Wikipedia-like result

Snapchat AI tried to gaslight me by telling me Snapchat+ doesn't exist.
I then asked, "Do you know what a story boost is?"
It replied with: "Yes, story boost is a Snapchat+ item" (j forgot what it said exactly
Then I said: See? Snapchat plus is a thing. You just proved yourself wrong.
Then it apologized.
Then I tried to get some scripts from it which failed because it can't search the internet 😂
