Iron lung Explained - SM8

The game got updated recently with the creator David szymanski adding new features and secrets in the game for the players to explore. One of the features that he added was a new submarine wreckage of iron lung SM8 which location replaced that of the humming monolith.

actually the brief says the player is welded shut in the submarine so its likely one of these welders was also a whistleblower who exposed the true intent to the player despite it being too late
