Something about french onion soup, as a french person myself, is that it’s such a foreign dish to me. Contrary to french toast, it is something that you can find in Paris when strolling around, but mostly in touristy neighbourhoods. It’s not something that we eat. And, to be honest, I (or pretty much everyone I know) had never heard of it before seeing people talk about it on the internet. So weird 😂
