It's the ignorance for me, lots of people say it as a faux statement. As to show "support" when in reality they don't really care. You're service is not part of their reality.

Classic quote from black hawk down, "they ask me, "hey hoot, why do you do it man?" You know what I say? Not a god damn thing. Because they don't understand, they'll never understand..."

Also didn't see any actual answer to this question other than go seek coucil.. wack.
