Developing economies are bound to pollute more until they can get to a point where they have enough available energy. Then they modernize. We did.

Those children do not do that work, they take coal, they are free for nearby people to burn the tandoor of their house. I know because I live hare. I'm from Indian coal mine jharkhand state.Our parents do that work and we go to government school to study, our house goes to the coal mine salary.

Just like the Centralia fire in Pennsylvania.

The difference is that everyone has abandoned Centralia but people don't have a choice in this village.
