Our buyer wanted to live in a newer condo in Kaka'ako. With so many buildings to choose from, we showed them many properties in order to get a good feel for what each building had to offer. We finally narrowed in on the Symphony Honolulu and submitted a couple of offers. The seller wasn't motivated but we stayed in touch and we were finally able to open escrow $200,000 less than their original price and $100,000 less than the appraised value. We closed for $1.55M and our buyers are very happy knowing they will be walking into day one ownership with extra equity.
