As an FNF player who's normally top 20-30% or even higher in FNB and FF but who gets absolutely _demolished_ in Osu!Mania online, I really appreciate this video! For instance, I learned that I was very good at streams (bc FNF lol) but really bad at LNs (bc FNF doesn't normally do LNs with other rice at the same time, as well as Osu!Mania requiring you to let go at the appropriate time as well), so now I know what to practice!

I’m 3 digit rn I just wanna improve my scores but it’s really hard cause my mentality is really bad I just want to improve in a more healthy way it just sucks I know it feels like I’m just venting or talking nonsense but I always just seem to feel really sluggish on specific maps like sometimes I mess up and get a miss for no reason my ratio is always amazing but I always get a great or good and ruin everything

I used to be bad at jacks, focused more on them, and now theyre super fun and enjoyable, and made a ton 5-6 stars easier, though it feels like I lost a lot of streaming speed, especially in my nondominant hand.
I can be considerably fast on my right fingers, yet have my left fingers slow and rusty. Any tips here, other than training more speed? It kinda annoys me because it feels before taking a 1 year break, when i was pretty bad at the game, i was better at speed than i am now

one thing is also important, is ''dan''.

if you don't know what is ''dan''is you need to run away far as possible.

if you know and you started to addicted to dan, will i only can say is you need to stop grinding too much now because dan it just a little achievement not ''dan=skill'', dan is just like rank, if u clear a dan but you only get good at the dan map to clear it is not going to help you anyway

Here my personal advice is:play dan only 1or2 time per week and don't grinding the dan map because is not going to help you.

Ye like for 4 digit i think once u reach it and dont know what to do just made goals like reach 2 digit country rank and global rank 5k or prob just chill for a bit and maybe dont sweat it in ranks, just push skill with dans and training packs etc

as a competative tournament player who is rank 3k on mania and 99 on quaver(even thoguh rank doesnt matter)
this video feels like it could definitely ruin your mindset due to your fixation on rank. When talking about goals u only talked about rank when talking about progression u only talk about rank. The main problen with ranj is by 4 digit there is a big divide on people who constantly farm and people who barely farm and causes ranks to be the most inaccurate thing on every single vsrg. Another problem is you never mentioned key skillsets like ratio and side catagories for ln (density release tech etc) and also differenciated jack and rice(even though jacks are literally the most rice thing ever)
certain things that are key to understand your playstyke including skin, scrollspeed, scroll direction and mod preferences(hidden) are not talked about even though they are a key part to understanding the best way you play and improve.
I reccomend before creating a guide to get more experience with different maps(download graveyard maps and etterna converts), play in tournaments and just understand that rank means basically nothing.
The key thing to improve is ti have fun and try to not overfocus on rank or dans or leadorboards and i feel like overall u didnt show that from what i said above
