Oh thank God this was really good. The first major black superhero movie that's legitimately like black culture and is directed by, starring almost entirely, and music by black people just had to be good. I mean yes Blade was a black superhero movie, but it wasn't directed by a black person and wasn't a movie to celebrate African culture. I'm knew this would be good, but I'm so glad it's great. The world looks amazing and I can't wait to see it on opening day. As a ginger growing up I identified with Black Panther more than any other character. Color never mattered.

Ok, in one way I feel great knowing that people really like this movie. On the other hand, I might have set a very high expectation because everyone is loving it and that might end up ruining my experience in seeing it.

I don't see why you'd worry. Marvel doesn't miss. Yes, some films are just alright (Iron Man 3, The Dark World), but I wouldn't say there's been a stinker.

I do believe Black Panther will be great, and i love to see a "black" superhero movie, but i think representation in movies is misinterpreted. It is good representation when Black Panther showcases the side of african culture that doesn't involve war, the one we are not supposed to feel pity for but be inspired by. But it is insane to say that you can't get into a character's mind and feel his/her struggles because of skin color.

I REALLY hope that Marvel doesn’t overdo it with the comedy in Black Panther because it’s been too much since Phase 2 e.g. Thor: Ragnarok.
I would prefer a much more serious, darker tone with this film.
