UFC's Colby Covington gets a Donald Trump shout-out

UFC Welterweight (170lb) title contender Colby Covington met with Donald Trump backstage right before Trump is to give a speech at a campaign rally in Las Vegas 9-13-20. Colby Covington an outspoken trump supporter and advocate for American ideals, first met Donald Trump in the summer of 2018 at the White House after he won his Interim Welterweight championship fight in June of that year. Covington was the first UFC Fighter ever to get an invitation to the White House to meet with the President, though Colby had to campaign through media interviews and get the help of Dana White to get the opportunity to receive and invitation. In August of 2019, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump were in attendance cage side in support to watch Covington's fight against Robbie Lawler. Later in the week Covington is set to fight former Champion, and longtime foe Tyron Woodley in Las Vegas 9-17-20
