Leave a comment if I left out anything important!

Edit: the only non-speedcube lube I'm aware of that works well is Traxxas 50k or anything similar. I don't think there is any common household item that works well as lube unfortunately.

I think you missed that F2L is gonna make you slower at first but once you get good at it it'll make you so much faster

I got told "do f2l intuitively and ended up making my own f2l method with a combo of advanced and begging such as putting the edge and corner into the bottom layer simultaneously without having to pair them up. However I think I have a much slower method to get them into the top layer in the first place as I'm not very good at recognizing patterns. Currently still working on it with an overall ao50 of 56.34 seconds

F2L is like the graph of the function *y = e^x*

It starts slowly but then suddenly goes up really fast. Same with F2L, at the start you're slow but with time you get much faster

Hey there my friend. My name is Josh and although I'm not a cuber I enjoy your videos and thought you deserve the praise. Your statistics and research is very good along with your delivery of information. I like watching your unboxing videos and my wife and I zen out sometimes to them. Wish me luck because in the future I plan to comfortably solve my own cube. Take care!

let's be honest, who didn't start on Rubik's brand.

I find it really useful to learn other methods/events like One-Handed, Blindfolded, Roux and ZZ, so you have a better general knowledge about how the cube works.
Before trying Roux I really couldn't do slice moves, and after trying to learn some EG-1 algs for 2x2, I learn a lot of useful fingertricks!
Roux and Blindfolded teached me quite a bit of wide moves, and One-Handed... It's a completely unique set of Fingertricks, and it developed my pinky muscle memory so much!
I haven't tried ZZ yet, but I'm pretty sure it's good for learn when an F2L case (usually) needs a rotation or not.

I started getting back into cubing 3 days ago, forgot how much fun it is! Your tutorials are really helping me get better at F2L, thanks J Perm!

HELPFUL TIP: If you don't have a stackmat timer (like me) then you can hold the two ctrl keys to start the timer. It works a lot like a stackmat.

Like so others can see!

I first started with other YouTubers for tutorials on how to solve it, cause I didn't see this channel. Then I searched on how to solve a Rubik's cube with CFOP method. I saw some other channel, but for some reason the video was like 45 mins . And your videos are much easier to understand .I watched your videos, and they help much more then the others from other channels. Thanks slot!

can you make a video on 2 sided pll recognition? Not just basic things like when the headlights are on the left, but being able to recognize from 2 sides from any angle. I feel like there’s a lack of videos like that on YouTube currently

either way great video as always, and congrats on 500k :)

My RS3M 2020 arrived yesterday, and I LOVE IT. It's sooo smooth. And it corner cuts slightly over 45°, and it's the *best* cube I've ever had
