The answer of dog for last question was correct!
She tapped 3 times then she wanted to put her feet down so the teachers count the last on too!!!!
That is not fair!!!!
But that was a good challenge for Dog and The cute students.

The dog just put his foot down not tapping again.

Maggie meant 3 taps on that last one.  It's easy to see watching the video.  It was a balance thing.

The obvious explanation is that the trainer is doing the math and subtly (maybe not even consciously) signalling the dog when to stop tapping. This turned out in 1907 to be the explanation for how a horse called Clever Hans seemed to be able to do math. Notice that Maggie's attention was all on the trainer, not the guy asking the questions.

I met this dog in Victoria, BC. It really does know how to count.

I would like to see the experiment repeated without the trainer present.

Maggie seemed to be looking intensely at the owner. I wonder how well Maggie will do without the owner in the room.

I believe I read somewhere that the dog really just was reading of the humans body language, and was not able to do any mathematics by itself.

the owner has a really strong connection with the dog and the dog can read the trainers body language or something like that thats my guess

Humans: what is 9\3 ?
Dog: Hooman am I a joke to you ? Gimme something to integrate, not 9/3. Guess ill fail purposely.

Maggie purposefully got it wrong so that kids wouldn't feel bad about losing to a dog
she is not just smart but wise and kind

Also, the dog CLEARLY tapped 3 times on the last one, and the last "tap" was actually the dog trying to stand, you know, since it DOES need all four legs to stand on.

So the dog taps out the answer before they write their's down? I would just listen to the taps. Also, that dog only tapped 3 times on the last one. Unless that sound effect was added in.

A dog definitely cant do math, so it was either prelearned or he was getting signals when to stop tapping.

Lol at the 75 divided by 3 question, the kid just copies Maggie's answer

Having a counting dog would make math class much more fun

Dogs are EXTREMELY attuned to body language. It’s they way they communicate with each other. In a way a dog can read a persons face even better than we can read each others. If her trainer even barely slightly signaled with her face, even subconsciously, the dog would pick that out. It’s pretty impressive but the real test would be with Just Maggie in the room.
