lmaoooo this video brought up some real kooky memories from childhood. I was in elementary school when my mom taught me that Alaska was bought by the US from Russia. I couldn't conceptualize the idea of selling land, so I imagined hundreds of tugboats pulling a piece of land called Alaska which was sawed off from Russia across the sea, bringing it closer to the US.

Rain doesn't fall because the clouds get heavy enough. That used to be what was believed but more recent science discovered that water vapor actually needs to collect on particles before they're heavy enough to fall.
It makes sense since you can have sun showers from tiny little clouds, but see dark grey storm clouds float by and still not pour on you.
