I'm in mid 20s and I do hvac work. I'd say about 80% of the guys at the supply houses are in there 40s+. I can't wait bc in another 10 years I'll be making so much money bc no one wants to do this.

these might be one of the last jobs AI will replace tbh. unless people get really good at explaining what's wrong with something so AI could guide them to fix it, but I highly doubt that will ever happen.
