The problem with this election is that it's between two war hawks. Just like in America. You've got the insane right wing war hawk, and the left wing war hawk. All of which lead you to the same outcomes just in different ways.
It's a sad state of affairs.

If someone have more victim complex and paranoia then Netanyahu, they will win.

Netanyahu has just stated that there will never be a two state solution while he is in power..  So how in the world can anyone ever hope that there could ever be any kind of stability in the Middle East?

Something that gets vary little press coverage, but is extremely important when it comes to Israeli politics, is the roll of the religious parties. The religious parties will never win the election, but they will always get just enough seat to play king maker. So regardless of who "wins" the election, they will have to make concessions to the religious parties. The concession the religious parties will ask for, is no concessions to the Palestinians. The Arab parties should rethink always being in the opposition, because until they do the religious parties will always have a final say in the negotiations.

Can you buy a tripod or press the stabilization button on that camera? It's a little shaky.

I guess I am too cynical on this one. I am expecting Netanyahu to win. However, if people of Israel voted for much more younger guy with bright ideas as PM, much like what people of Greece did, then I would restore my faith in humanity.

Labor are polling higher than Likud in all polls at the moment. One can only hope this will actually be the result.

I am an African American Jew who lives in Israel and my vote, once again, is for Netanyahu .I tend to the right because I want us to survive. We will not with a Palestinian state next door, with the same agenda as Nazi Germany.

The "Young Turds" (among others) rhetoric failed to take down Netanyahu.

90% of contributions for Netanyahu's campaign come from the USA. I hope one day there will be peace in the world.

That looks like a nice place, anyone know where it is?

Why would Israelites listen to a Turkish American? Germans were trying to tell the Greeks what they should vote for and it made equally little sense.

The trouble is that this election won't come down to what the Israeli's actually vote for. It'll come down to deals between parties. There are over 20 political parties in Israel, and then there is also proportional representation. In other words if a party gets 10 percent of the votes they get 10% of the seats in parliament (in this example that would mean 12 seats in the 120 seat Israeli parliament). It then comes down to who can scrape together enough of a coalition between parties to get to 61 seats. Likud (Netanyahu's party) only have 18 seats in the current parliament. That gives you an example of how fractured the vote is. The major party in the government only got 15% of the vote last time around. It's going to be tight, but just don't think that if Netanyahu remains PM of Israel after today's vote it's because Israeli's actually want him. Some want people further to the right of him (believe it or not, there are people much further to the right than him), most want variations of people further to the left than he is, but because of the system and so many bloody parties, he still has a good chance of remaining PM with 15-20% of the vote.

Netanyahu has come back from the dead so many times, you can never write his epitaph.
