Here’s the full explanation: A few months back, twitch chat enjoyed testing out nicknames for George, we called him Gregory, Greg, Grog, stuff like that. Eventually we all came to a mutual agreement that Gogy and Gog sounded the best. Now that’s his name.

Personally I always remembered it as dream calling him "georgie" in a british accent, which sounds like "gogy" but with the G's pronounced in a different way, then everyone started calling him gogy and it became gogy with a soft G rather than a J sound

tbh i first heard the gogy nickname from that one tommyinnit stream where the whole Pog2020 and Swag2020 was happening and tommy found out george was the vice president then wilbur said “say this to him, call him gogy” or something like that. wilbur could have gotten it from somewhere else tho🤔
