Awesome bro 🔥 I remember when 1/8 scale racing was big in the early 2000's. I was sponsored by a guy I met at the track. He gave me a Losi 4wd buggy with a Picco 21 size nitro motor fuel parts etc. I thought those things were big lol those were small compared to these 5th scale trucks. I've never owned a 5th scale but I've seen them at the hobby shop and I can tell ya until you see them in person you really don't get a good size comparison on camera.

I feel like some of the magic has been lost with Electric cars... Nitro, 2 stroke cars have something special about them for sure! maybe its because that's where a lot of us started was with gas cars! Not to say your choice in rigs is bad, but have you checked out the new vesla5 coming out ? I'm all in on that thing, I've talked with East side dude a couple times, he helped me with symmetrical steering on my ba ha, I'm taking out the Taylor losi from hell today for the second time, that thing isunreal !
