Ολική ρήξη στις σχέσεις Ελλάδας - Ρωσίας, φαίνεται ότι έχουμε μετά τις σημερινές ανθρώπινες απώλειες, δέκα Ελλήνων ομογενών, που προήλθαν από βομβαρδισμούς στην Ανατολική Ουκρανία, και πιο συγκεκριμένα στον οικισμό Σαρτανά, που βρίσκεται πολύ κοντά στην πόλη της Μαριούπολης και στον οικισμό Μπουγάς, που βρίσκεται 70 χλμ βορειότερα, καθώς η Ελληνική κυβέρνηση θεώρησε ότι οι απώλειες προήλθαν από πυρά των ρωσικών δυνάμεων.
Έτσι, το Ελληνικό υπουργείο Εξωτερικών, με ανακοίνωση του, κάλεσε την Ρωσική Ομοσπονδία να διακόψει αμέσως τις εναέριες επιθέσεις και κάθε ενέργεια εναντίον αμάχων πολιτών.
Άμεσα ανταπάντησε η ρωσική πρεσβεία στην Αθήνα, που με ανακοίνωση της ανέφερε ότι εκφράζει τη βαθιά της θλίψη σχετικά με το θάνατο και τον τραυματισμό των Ελλήνων ομογενών στην περιοχή του Ντονμπάς αλλά τόνισε πως στα περίχωρα του χωριού Σαρτανά οι ρωσικές Αεροπορικές και Διαστημικές Δυνάμεις σήμερα δεν επιχειρούσαν.

A complete rupture in Greek-Russian relations, it seems that we have after today's human losses, of ten Greek expatriates, who came from bombings in Eastern Ukraine, and more specifically in the village of Sartana, which is very close to the city of Mariupol and the village of Bougas, which is located 70 km north, as the Greek government considered that the losses came from fire of the Russian forces.
