I love this! I just purchased a TS100, after watching a Daniel Tartaglia video, and did not realise it came with no power supply. As I was searching for TS100 power supplies, I came across your very useful video.

Thank you once more. Great video.

for a carrying case i have gone for a vape pen case that allows me to store everything soldering in there; iron, solder, power cable, stand (bulldog clip w/ 1 arm reoved and placed upside down in jaw), extra sodering tip, xt60, deans, tamya (prewired), xt60 to deans adapter, heat shrink, thick/thin wire, electrical tape, blue tac, homemade third hand. basically its everything in 1 pouch excluding power source so when i grab it out in the field i dont have to go searching for all the bits.

I think this just pushed me over the edge to buy a TS100, I am a noob but I keep finding jobs that need soldering, this is probably over kill but my 20w cheapo is just junk.

Banggood has discontinued the TS-100 soldering iron. Cases, tips, etc. are still available.

Thanks for solder wire suggestion. I use proskit one from hobbyking, it is really good, but quite often too thick since they have only 1mm. My TS100 collects dust since I got TS80

I use a bench suction cup vise thing to hold stuff. The helping hands I bought were cheap and sucked.. Need some of those blue ones like you have. Also what was the purpose of the heat shrink in the carrying case?

i got the kit with the TS-I rather than the OTHER useless conical tip. it's not performing as expected as the internal geometry isn't fully copper to the tip i presume.
TS-C4 is a nuclear reactor. TS-D24 is my spirit animal.
i made the stand with a paperclip. :)

What do u think about the "black chrome" soldering tips @BG? I would like to buy a TS-D24 tip but there are two types of it.

Fantastic stuff, dude! 😃
Added some things you showed to my wishlist! 😊
BTW, I remember seeing a video where the guy makes a TS100 case with a small piece of PVC pipe... But don't remember how he did it. 😕
Well, I guess I'm getting old. LOL
