In fact, it was in 1224 during St. Michael’s Lent when Francis received the great grace of the Stigmata — the Five Wounds of Christ.

Thanks for this video, really good information, there is also a fast popular in the Eastern Church for the Assumption, known as the Dormition Fast, which is from August 1st Lammas (Loaf Mass) to August 15th. Another name for this fast is The Little Lent of Our Lady.

Curious why there is no mention that the start date is the feast day of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. I think that’s pretty significant and by no means a coincidence.
