Everyone is sold on gold as a currency but I think its a store of value. It works poorly as currency in todays world. How can I the owner of Amazon Or Mom & Pop website except gold as payment. Why should I trust a 3rd party who is willing to give me an IOU for a gold token. That is how all of this started. I dont know what the answer is but its not clean cut. It would need to be verifiable in all countries as a digital currency to start.

I think people are starting to prefer gold and silver to store value ---- the cracks in the system are obvious, people are loosing faith and getting out => rising gold & silver dollar prices
