+ More advanced weaponry (More convoluted ACME products compared to Tom’s conventional household objects)

+ Has a way to undo Tom’s toon force (Anti-Looney DNA serum, as seen in Tiny Toons Looniversity)

+ Speed (Only slightly slower than Road Runner as opposed to Jerry, who hasn’t shown exceptional speed outside of enchantments)

= Toon force gives comparable durability (More specifically, shows to consistently survive point-blank explosions and vehicular attacks)

— Arrogant (Repeatedly calls himself a “super genius”, leading to him being constantly blind-sighted)

— Reckless and impulsive (While Tom is not immune to this, Wile. E has show to be wildly more blind in his impulsivity, such as when he prodded a bunch of boulders with a stick just to get them to fall on him, and then only got out a small umbrella to protect himself despite clearly having ample time to run away)

— Weaponry _very_ often backfires, INCLUDING the Anti-Looney DNA serum

*Tom |*

+ Wittier and smarter (Has tricked Jerry on occasions without the use of gadgetry, as opposed to Wile E., who often tries to have his devices do the tricking and damage for him)

+ Has weapons he can _actually_ control (While prone to accidents and sabotage, Tom has shown to have surprisingly great dexterity with melee weapons and magical tools VS Wile’s unreliable technology and magic he has virtually no control over)

= Toon force gives comparable durability (More specifically, although most injuries come from regular household objects, Tom has rarer higher showings that blow Wile E. out of the water, such as being cooked in oven, intense dismemberment and slicing, and becoming nothing but a skeleton)

— Less experienced (Jerry is a much weaker target compared to the speedier and craftier Road Runner)

I like the trailer and the idea, but I don't think it will ever come true. That's because, the question is: "who would get himself killed first?"

I don't know who wins, tbh. Both have star to large star level feats though I guess you could bump Tom's feat into multi-solar system and I don't know who's faster so I'll go with Tom until something comes up for Wile E. Coyote.
Edit: I don't know why but this sounds good in my head for Darla Dimple (Cats Don't Dance) vs Julie (Total Drama) and I don't know why.

I fucking love this match up so much! And as a fan of Smallest Violin it works so well for both of them I am surprised!

I think Tom Cat wins this due to better toon force (actually able to defy the law physics whereas wile can only take damage) and a better win ratio (had tied and even beaten Jerry several times). Not to mention wiles luck is far worse (his own gadgets always backfire on their own whereas Tom’s tricks usually get sabotaged when they don’t work)

My money's on Tom, Wile's luck with weapons essentially just makes this a 2v1 situation where he's constantly gonna be fighting against Tom AND his own weapons I think..

BUT whoever wins, its definitely gonna be a fun fight with these two nostalgic characters.

All im hoping for is to hear that iconic Tom scream.

Great trailer it’s not the best matchup for both since there’s a obvious matchup that works better for Tom but I still love it we really need more good trailers of this matchup

I feel like Wile has intelligence on his side not to mention speed, even though he's no where near as fast as Road Runner Wile is usually not that far behind him and some of the things Wile has survived I feel are bigger then Toms best survivability feats especially if his cartoons where he tries to catch Bugs Bunny come up. One ends with him surviving getting crushed by several tons of metal including a rocket which then exploded and he was able to walk down to Bug's house to say he changed his mind about being a carnivore. The best feat of survivability for Tom that I can remember involves an exploding mouse that, when it did blow up destroyed the house with Tom poking his head out of the rubble to speak one of his few lines. Tom catching Jerry usually involves Jerry becoming arrogant when it comes to avoiding Tom with a prime example being the episode where Tom inherits a million dollars (this was the forties a million went a long way back then) and Jerry pushes Tom to the point Tom willing gives up the money all just to finally get his hands on Jerry.
