Jack Poels - 'Blauwe Vear' (live 2020)

In Vrije Geluiden Sessies 2020 we present Dutch singer Jack Poels with some new songs from his album ‘Blauwe Vear’. This session was recorded in Museum Speelklok in Utrecht. A wonderful venue with centuries-old self-playing musical instruments. Jack Poels, best known as Rowwen Hèze's singer and guitarist, presents his very first solo album. ‘Blauwe Vear’ contains twelve Dutch / Limburgian ballads.

Jack Poels (62) was born and raised in the village of America in Limburg. The songs that Jack Poels wrote so far were for his band Rowwen Hèze. The band always led the way. And that for 35 years. But finally there is now his first solo album; Blue vear. Honest songs in dialect.
