This makes me want to cry because it always reminds me of when the Olympics are over and that sense of global togetherness is gone for another 2 - 2 1/2 years. The Olympics are the only sporting event that I actually LIKE to watch, and I am totally obsessed with it

Yes, the NBC closing montage was Titans Spirit thankfully! After NBC modernized John Williams original Olympic Fanfare and got ride of Briscoe County years ago I was fearing they would change the closing credits but thankfully they did not!

That feel when it's Olympic season, but they were cancelled due to COVID-19, and you just listen to the theme music over and over again.

Dick Ebersol is a big Randy Edelman fan.. Remember NFL on NBC when they did AFC games in early 90s.. The theme was also written by Randy. Not to mention Brisco County Jr theme.

Its really interesting that the score for dragonheart really took on a life of its own more than the movie.

After NBC stopped playing "Brisco County Jr" for the upcoming events in Tokyo I was afraid they would drop "Titans Spirit" for the closing montage. Thank goodness they didn't cause there is no more perfect theme for the Olympics closing montage than Trevor Rabin's masterpiece!!!

@4:00 is when they show the montage of the falls and fails. I want to cry every time because I know these athletes work so hard and dedicate their lives for that one moment. To see any of them lose or mess up is truly heart breaking.

I am so glad this was posted. Watching the final final credits of NBC's Olympic coverage always filled me with bittersweet triumphant joy and have I have always wanted a recording of that score. Thank you for posting this.
