I kept thinking ‘where’s the kettle?’ And I just realized how truly British I am that I cant stop thinking about a cup of tea.

What great timing, I was actually looking through your old videos last night as I wish to build one line yours. Has to be my favourite design I've seen on YouTube. Thanks Bernardo, Keep up the good work.

Man, your videos are very inspiring, I recently found your channel and watching your adventures is very interesting, everything is very simple and at the same time high quality, in one of your videos you said that you are inspired by Casey, but I think you surpassed him in some things. I wish you further development, new discoveries and inspiration.

Vanlifer in the SW U.S. since 2011, here. As far as learning electricity (basic 12th Grade Physics) Go to the library. Take out 'Physics Demystified'. Read the easy chapters on Direct Current. Then Alternating Current. Then More On Alternating Current. Do the 10 problems at the end of each chapter. I knew nothing. It's easy; Amps × Volts = Watts. Watts being overall Electrical Power. Amps & Volts being components of Electrical Power. 1 Watt = The Force or Energy required to push 1kg 1 meter in 1 second on a flat surface. After that check out all the YouTube DIY videos on 'Building a Lithium Ion Battery Pack' (out of 18650 laptop batteries). After dabbling in this on & off for a couple of years, I'm ready to build out my own Van electrical systems from scratch. Building my own lithium (or solid state batteries in the near future) battery packs from scratch with B.M.S. With custom voltages/amperages. Portable Power Stations of my own, etc. Maybe even build my own inverter. But just the basics (so far) goes a long way.

Bernardo, your IIT chennai video mesmerized me when I saw it. I liked the campus and also the background music you used and the way you showed the campus. After a few years, I actually got a chance to stay at IIT madras for three days as I was one of Inter IIT participants (in 2023 jan). Then I tried to recognise most of the things you showed in the video (especially the coconut aunty 😃). Perhaps I liked the campus very strongly from your video that the universe planned this for me❤

12:59 I may be wrong, but is it the best idea to store the tools next to the safe… like, tools that you could maybe hypothetically use to break into a safe?

Your van build series inspired everything about my own van build although it was double the cost 😂. The raw wood look just had me at the first video so thank you so much ❤ Love your videos and the channel too :)

I love how dedicated you’ve been to your van and I’m excited to hopefully see more videos of more journeys you may endeavor with in the future while traveling. Thank you for this update, we’ll be with you to see where your next journey awaits to! The van looked so good and I can tell the amount of work and patience you had to build this according to yourself. Thank you! 🙏 ❤

Should build some foldable legs for the floating part of the bed so there's more support. And for the shower they sell portable shower tents. And a portable shower head/pump that sucks up water on one end and sprays it out of the shower head. So just fill a container up with water, plop the pump in the water and turn it on and then you have a shower.

About the bed leaning towards you when you put it up. I have a simple sugestion. Cut the cushion into 2. 1 that fits the chair when its up so you also have cushion on the chair and it wont get in the way of the bed fully leaning on the side of the van. It'll make a little uncomfortable part on the bed when cutting it but i dont think its that big of a deal.

LOVE IT! When I can finally get a van, a shower is a MUST for me, as well as a toilet. I have to pee constantly so it's a non negotiable lol

I'm just seeing your van now... I really like the work you've done. It really addresses all your needs without being cluttered. About your plank floor... It is actually superior to roll floor. The problem is with the installation. A plank floor has to have a minimum 1/8-1/4 inch gap (3 to 6mm) all around to allow for expansion... then trim above around the edges with some baseboard trim to hide gaps. That allows the floor to expand and contract without buckling. Rolled vinyl floor is thin and easy to put down, but wears thin and scuffs and tears far more easily... and when it does, you basically have to replace the whole floor. With planks, you can replace just the damaged ones. I'm not sure how difficult it would be now for you to pull up the planks along the edge where it meets up with resistance, trim a bit off then put a small trim above... but it is an option.

I love your bed setup. I have pets that will be coming with me and the space where it "floats" would be perfect for them to have a safe feeling enclosure under the bed.

Yeah, some day you can scrap the electrical area and stick the Anker in there, and run your solar directly into it. Then the electrical can be directed into a couple of the ac inputs into the Anker. Cool thing is the Anker can by disconnected from the solar and used outside or you can run a cable to charge it when in a campsite or along side a recharging station.

Get a water plant. And put it out everyday if you are not opening your van. It adds to the fun when you are taking care of something like a pet of plant. Your campvan is really clean and smooth. The build is awesome. Cant get over it.
