Thank you Rob. Judy will be 84 next month. She mainly did folk, blues and protest songs from the Beatnik era onward. Doesn't she sound like Janis Joplin a bit? She could really wail.
This is from a movie in 1963 based on the Hootenanny (1963/64) tv show. There was a bunch of these 'youth-oriented' shows back then. Shindig (64/65), Hullaballoo (65/66), Shivaree (65/66), Where The Action Is (65/67. There were a number of others. I remember watching the ones mentioned except for Shivaree.
