Regularly remove sawdust and debris from the board and its components to maintain smooth operation. Inspect the board for wear, checking for any dents, warping, or damage that could affect its performance. Pay special attention to the fence and track, ensuring they are straight and secure. Examine the plane's sole and blade for sharpness and alignment. Address any issues promptly to prevent further damage.
