I’m more concerned about the hidden message here that it’s OK to make bare skin contact with chemicals. Ammonium perchlorate is low toxicity and it’s stable at low temperatures, but that’s not the point. Someone could see this and somehow think it’s OK to stick their bare hand in potassium dichromate, a strong base or something worse.
