PCem Transfer files from Host to VM and from VM to host

Tools used are 7-zip download it here.

WinCDEmu is used to create ISO files on the fly.

Hello from the future! PCem 17 in 2023 and *still* this saved me. Still no great tutorials for getting network shared folders working or anything. So, this is the way. Thanks!

The VHD file that PCem creates can also be opened with 7zip. Also the FAT files that are the actual partitions can be opened with 7zip. It's not that clean as using the Iomega zip-drive, but you can skip one step.

Thanks for the tutorial. I'm trying do what you showed in the latter half of the video (move files from PCem to host). Whenever I select to Load ZIP Drive, nothing is actually loaded. I don't see a removable disk or any drive change in my explorer on PCem.

WinCDEmu "Build an ISO Image" option not appearing in Explorer context menu.

It would be nice if there was a virtual CD burner to get larger files back out of the VM into an ISO.

I can't get WinCDEmu to show up in the context menu on Windows 11.

I don't have a function in menu disk to create image, what should I do ?

Any way to do an import for files bigger than cdrom iso's. I can't find a work around

Zip disk does not works! System does not see it nd it cnt be mounted

Ive opened the PCem Win diks image with 7zip and extracted it directly

Excellent tutorial...but when I try to access the img on my host pc...its always checked it after each step in PCEM and the file is always corrupt...did you ever run into this

After downloading WinCDEmu importing to PCem is pretty easy, but I think exporting is more complicated.
