I loved that June got in her face with the “Do you understand me?!” Just like Serena did to her in season 1. I loved that little moment because it really solidified that June means Serena will suffer for everything she’s done.

I love that they got into the topic of Serena being jealous of June because something I've picked up on among women IRL is how traditional misogyny and the accepting of male violence is passed down as this burden, from generation to generation. And women who conform to the oppression the most feel resentment towards other women that dare to believe they deserve better. It's this sort of attitude of "if I have to bare this burden, you should have to, too". Absolutely, Serena resents June (and feels a sense of jealousy) at the fact that June isn't willing to just accept the dutiful role of womanhood that Serena felt she needed to embrace. She symbolizes a crux in the belief and in the system.

My first thought after Tuello told Serena that she was pregnant was that HE was the father. Tuello seems very smitten with Serena in earlier episodes.

What I notice is that since Serena is pregnant, they have completely forgotten Nichole, Serena has always been envious of June. She also wanted to experience motherhood, have someone who loves you and cares about you more than his work, which is why she tried to destroy June’s relationship with Nick by assigning him a woman. She is moody and dangerous to those who approach her especially when she does not get what she wants. At gillead, Serena wasn’t freer than June, the two of them understand each other, support each other, help each other... don’t they have the same goal in the end? The future of their child out of the domination of men.

Serena is planning her and her child’s future. I’m sure she wants to get back to Gillead. I remember when she was in D.C. with the Winslow’s. She was on cloud 9. They were living the world and life she intended to create. That’s what she wants for her child and herself.

Cosmic justice...Serena will give birth, after which her child will be taken from her. Then, with her newfound fertility (and inevitable betrayal of Fred) I see her reassigned as a Handmaid should she return to Gilead..

I agree with Max. I *_totally_* thought that Serena and Mark were gonna fall in love/affair. Then when the trailers for season 4 started posting online and we found out about Sabrina's pregnancy, I thought that Mark was going to be the father (so we would have started out the season with a time jump.) So, wrong and wrong.🙉
