How does your side part effect the cut if you end up wanting a middle part? I wear a side part but do a middle part when i cut my hair like this, should i cut leaving the middle part?

Always cut *above* the elastic for uniformity and to keep the hairs from falling everywhere. 🤭

Make sure you have good haircutting scissors meant for hair ie professional . May not be cheap but it cat make a big difference. Also if you don’t have fine hair, you can if brave use a hair razor to cut your hair. Do not use a razor or scissors like a razor on fine hair. You will regret it in a few days. It begins to look like rats came in and chewed the ends off.
