Just watched it, 1:20 AM in the morning and it was.. tragically beautiful. Honestly everyone should watch it atleast once. The crew outdid themselves. Even the intimate scenes, delivered the sense of secrecy, forbidden longing, and desired pain of 1950s. The rest was just perfect.

I just can't conceive of this extraordinary film. It moved me down to aches. I am, I am gay, I am 52 and still single, the story of my life could be told as well, but it is not my story in here. I cried out my heart, I poured down my tears because this movie mirrors my whole life...sad, alone, hopeless. What I hate the most is, that at my 52 I never had or found this love, but for me it is so unfair that they had that love; and life just took that love away from them their entire life, such a waste. Just sad. How come they learnt to go on without the love they had once. Just crying my heart out.

This movie was so underrated by the critics. This is a classic because of its message of how we shouldn't be afraid to love who we really want to in life. That we should follow who our heart chooses and not be afraid to go against what society's norms dictates. Harry, you blew me were magnificent! The chemistry between Harry and David's love making scenes were the best I've ever seen on screen they were so tender and so beautifully done. David Dawson your charismatic performance, mannerisms and your narration about how Tom and Patrick met, and how the relationship evolved and was nurtured made this beautiful movie come to life...
